The traditional savarin made in these molds is a yeast cake, covered with
a sweet syrup. The true savarin mold is a ring mold with a rounded, rather
than flat, base.
You can use these molds to make just about any cake or Jell-O, or...

colors and containing some bay or other leaves or sprigs, presented as a
