Magefesa Carbon Steel Paella Pan 9-Inch

Out of stock
Steel pans are easy to handle, and quick to heat. Frequent stirring helps to insure even cooking. After you're done cooking, be sure to wash and thoroughly dry the paella pan, then put a light coating of oil on it before storing, to help prevent rust from forming. Blued steel is carbon steel that is heated so that the surface oxidizes and forms a dark, bluish coloration; it serves to help protect -- but not prevent -- the pan from rusting.

Designed for use on gas stoves and over a grill. It may also be used in a regular oven.

Easy to clean
Dimpled base to allow the oil to collect in the centre
Fast and even heat distribution
Dual riveted handles for a comfortable, secure handling
Model 01PAPAEPU22

Before first use, we recommend boiling a solution of water and vinegar in the pan. If the label doesn't come off easily, warm the piece slightly.
Never place the pan on heat when empty, and avoid overheating by monitoring the heat intensity at all times. As with all pans, never expose it to sudden temperature changes.
After use, wash the pan with detergent and hot water. You only need to use a soft sponge, and don't use abrasive cleaners. Once cleaned, dry thoroughly, then apply a thin layer of cooking oil over the surface with a cloth or paper towel. Cover with plastic wrap before storing.
