Replacement Rubber Gasket For Aluminum Macchinetta, 9 Cup

81 mm (3-3/16 in.) outside diameter, 9 mm wide (0.35 in.). Made of rubber. Set of 2 rings. Fits 9-cup aluminum stovetop espresso makers.

To remove the gasket from a macchinetta, I find it easiest to use the corner of a plastic scraper to work it out from where it meets the filter, then I grab it with my fingertip. Unlike a metal utensil, the plastic doesn't scratch the metal filter plate. Regularly remove and wash the gasket, filter plate, and the body areas they hide. Natural rubber gaskets can be kept soft by occasionally boiling a few minutes with a bit of baking soda.
